Bali is a hot (literally and figuratively) destination and high on many peoples bucket list. This Indonesian island is well known for its traditional and modern dance, beaches and is a fan favourite for surfing. It is a must stop on any Southeast Asia trip. I suggest at least 10 days but really, the more time you can spare the better. I went in February 2017 and although I’m not the type of person who will only visit a place once, I typically want a fair amount time between visits. Not Bali though. I plan on going back sooner rather than later. It was the perfect mix of beach and culture. Until then, I have my photos and memories of this dreamy holiday to keep me going.
Need more Bali wanderlust and inspiration? Read about my experience at Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest to learn a tip or two when you visit! Spoiler alert – you’ll want to visit. These photos are taken in various locations around the island including Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Queen beach, Thomas beach, Pura Gunung Kawi and our Ubud guesthouse.
