What I Wish I Knew Before Going to Thailand

Before I had gone to Thailand I asked everyone I knew that had been for tips, recommendations, stories or just anything about Thailand they were willing to divulge. This trip was a year and a half in the making so there was a lot of build up. Luckily, it had lived up to our expectations and then some! I felt quite prepared when going but still had quite a few surprises once there. Here are three things I wish I knew before going to Thailand.

12 Things to Know Before Coming to Canada

If there is one thing for certain no matter where I go, it’s that Canada is my favourite country. Polite, friendly folks? Maple syrup? POLAR BEARS? Yes please. Legit, Tourism Canada should hire me as their Lead Marketer. As well as Tourism Kelowna (and Tourism Poland) but we’ll get to that in a later post. Canada is just such a diverse country and there is something for everyone. Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest Experience

Bali, Indonesia has been one high on my “must travel” list for as long as I can remember. Luckily, I spend a lot of time researching destinations so without hesitation my sister trusted my judgement and agreed to go. We planned on visiting two places and as the cultural hub in Bali, Ubud was an obvious choice. First on our Bali agenda was the Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest.

6 Things to Know Before Going to the Full Moon Party

I went to the Full Moon Party when I did a month long Thailand – Indonesia trip in February 2017. Honestly, I didn’t know much about it when we first decided to go other than it’s something that you cross off the Southeast Asia bucket list when you go to Thailand. I had done some research just before trekking to Koh Phangan but nowhere I read online touched on these points. These are all things I wish I knew before going to the Full Moon Party. I truly believe I would have had a better time if I did.
